We're looking for an experienced AI Developer to support the delivery of modern software solutions while helping embed AI-assisted engineering practices across the development lifecycle. This is a hands-on contract role requiring strong full-stack development experience, AWS expertise and an interest in applying AI to improve engineering efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Build and support cloud-native solutions using AWS.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools to improve software delivery.
- Develop APIs and backend services.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with Product, QA and Platform teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Drive continuous improvement through AI tooling and modern engineering practices.
Essential Skills
- Strong commercial experience in full-stack software development.
- Experience with React, Angular or Vue.
- Backend development using Python, Node.js or Java.
- AWS cloud experience.
- CI/CD and Agile delivery experience.
- Strong understanding of APIs, testing and software engineering best practices.
Desirable
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Kiro or similar).
- Knowledge of LLMs and AI-enabled engineering workflows.
