A Payments client based in London are looking for a Strong Payments Programme Manager to join them on an initial 6 month engagement. The Programme Manager will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programmes that support the Client's strategic growth objectives, including e-commerce, customer portal, and geographic expansion initiatives.
Role Requirements:
- You will have an excellent technical grasp of payments and can connect the dots on complex projects.
- You will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously from inception to rollout and ensure progress is tracked.
- You will have excellent stakeholder management, both internal and external.
- Managing a team of project managers in your region to mentor, knowledge share and support through project delivery within the Client.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional programmes in technology-enabled or fintech environments.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms, e-commerce, and customer-facing systems.
- Experience working within structured governance and prioritisation models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and changing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial controls at programme level.
This is an initial 6 month engagement working mainly remotely paying £500/day Outside IR35.
