Join our Quant Trading team in London to design, run, and optimise systematic crypto trading strategies. As a quantitative trader, you are in the centre of the core business and manage algorithmic crypto trading strategies, playing a key role on the Quant Trading team.

We are looking for experienced people to join us in London. The ideal candidate has:

  • Direct experience in all aspects of running a systematic trading system and understands the workflow from idea generation to production implementation
  • Exposure to short term quantitative strategies and experience monitoring risk and managing operational issues within highly automated trading systems
  • Keen interest in financial trading theory and financial markets
  • Interest in global macro-trends and micro-trends relevant for markets covered (i.e. crypto, blockchain)
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent programming skills - Python or C++ or strong motivation to learn coding very fast

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse performance of market‐making operation and issue recommendations for model adjustments and new models development
  • Manage trading operations, define and track key metrics
  • Debug real time operational issues within a highly complex and automated trading systems
  • Back testing and production performance monitoring
  • Contribute to in‐house data analysis packages and research framework development
  • Development of automation tools to improve trading processes
  • Statistical analysis and machine learning to generate alpha signals for trading strategies
  • Back-test hypotheses, build predictive models, and produce systematic strategies

Requirements:

  • Must have a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Quantitative Finance
  • Experience developing software systems in an object‐oriented language is a plus
  • Python/R/MatLab, highly skilled in one of these. Expert coding skills in Python will be highly preferred
  • Database applications, intermediate (SQL, KDB)

Nice to have:

  • C++, intermediate
  • Minimum 2 years experience in trading, managing risk, and dealing with the operational issues associated with short‐term quantitative strategies
  • Demonstrated experience of working with tick data
  • Advanced knowledge in algorithms, network programming, operating systems, compilers
  • Experience with running code in containerised environments is a plus, especially Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with AWS (or other cloud software/infra)
