The Warehouse FLT Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient movement of goods within the warehouse using forklift equipment. The role supports goods-in, storage, replenishment, and dispatch operations, ensuring stock is handled correctly and workflows run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate forklift trucks (Counterbalance, Reach, or other FLT types) to move, load, and unload pallets and materials
· Safely load and unload delivery vehicles
· Transport stock to designated warehouse locations
· Support picking, packing, and order preparation when required
· Complete daily safety checks on FLT equipment and report defects
· Maintain accurate stock handling and follow warehouse procedures
· Keep work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards
· Follow all health and safety regulations, including manual handling guidelines
· Work collaboratively with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet operational targets
Skills & Requirements
· Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance, Reach, or both)
· Previous warehouse or FLT experience preferred
· Strong awareness of safety procedures
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Desirable
· Experience with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems
· Flexibility to support other warehouse tasks when needed
