Account Co-ordinator

Job Description
As an Account Co-ordinator, you will support the day-to-day management of several of our large grocery accounts, providing excellent customer service whilst ensuring orders, account administration and sales information are managed accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the Buying, Merchandising and Demand Planning teams for our large accounts, as well as our National Account Managers and other relevant internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders, credits, and invoices accurately and promptly.
- Co-ordinate day-to-day administration for allocated customer accounts.
- Monitor orders, stock availability and deliveries, identifying and resolving issues where required.
- Manage stock forecasting and purchase orders for specific customers.
- Maintain customer and sales information using Excel and our internal business systems.
- Maintain customer portals and ensure all data is kept up to date.
- Prepare and update sales reports, live spreadsheets, and other customer account information.
- Complete customer documentation, including new line forms and product listings.
- Act as a link between the customer, National Account Managers, and relevant internal departments.
- Investigate and resolve customer claims and issues relating to lost, missing, or delayed products.
- Manage customer enquiries by email and telephone, responding promptly and professionally.
- Manage competing priorities and deadlines and escalate or seek support when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer service.
- Participate in customer meetings when required.

Key Attributes & Skills:
- Previous Sales Administration or Account Co-ordination experience.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Confident working with Excel spreadsheets and numerical data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a practical approach to problem solving.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
