We\'re looking for two enthusiastic Sales Assistants to join our team for an exciting 8 week pop-up shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain retail experience, be part of a supportive team, and help create an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.
About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you\'ll support the Shop Manager in delivering sales targets by providing outstanding customer service, engaging with customers, and contributing to the overall success of the pop-up shop. You\'ll play a key role in ensuring every customer receives a warm welcome and leaves with a positive shopping experience.
You\'ll also work closely with the Shop Manager and wider retail team to help maximise sales, maintain excellent store standards, and contribute ideas that drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every customer is welcomed promptly.
- Engage with customers, identify their needs, and confidently promote products.
- Help achieve store sales, conversion, and average transaction value (ATV) targets.
- Maintain high standards of merchandising, ensuring displays are attractive, commercial, and well-stocked.
- Ensure all products are accurately priced with clear promotional signage.
- Book in and process incoming stock accurately.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock to the Shop Manager.
- Encourage customers to join our mailing list and promote current offers.
- Support regular stocktakes and ensure stock is counted accurately.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store objectives and continually improve performance.
- Provide feedback and ideas to help increase sales and improve the customer experience.
- Open and close the store when required, following company procedures and under the direction of the Shop Manager.
