We're looking for an experienced Retail Sales Supervisor to join our team for an exciting 8week pop-up shop .
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, and help create an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.
To ensure the store hits sales budget and control all costs within budget by the end of each financial year.
To ensure that the store teams deliver exceptional customer service at all times and that the customer remains the number 1 priority at all times.
To encourage team work through effective communication with in the store team store and head office team.
To feedback to Retail Area Sales Manager competitor activity on a regular basis.
Your Key Responsibilities to help us achieve our vision
- Deliver sales budget by engaging the team to be sales focused, working on ATV and conversion in order to hit targets.
- Recruit and train a strong sales team, keeping in line with store profile hours.
Organise staff rotas taking in to consideration trading pattern in order to maximise sales, review on a regular basis.
- Encourage team work within the store and foster a culture of continuous improvement, identify future talent to aid succession planning.
- Manage stock efficiently ensuring we have correct levels to meet sales, that stock is correctly priced, all promotions are correct and stock is displayed in a commercial manor in order to maximise sales.
- Is proactive and communicates to Retail Area Sales Manager ideas to drive sales, correct poor performance.
- Able to produce and interpret all commercial sales reports and sure weekly plan is in place. Forward plan 3 months ahead on actions required to hit budgeted sales and targets.
- Ensure that the customer is the number one priority.
That teams are engaging with all customers.
That all of the team are demonstrating strong salesmanship and outstanding customer service skills by effective training.
- Ensure stock is accurately accounted for conducting regular mini stock takes and 2 main stocktake annually as per company expectations.
- Ensure health and safety and security of all staff and customers is a priority at all times, and that required audits are carried out weekly and recorded.
- Ensure all banking activities are followed, takings are accurately accounted for and banked on a regular basis through Loomis system.
- Maximise brand profile within host store/centre ensuring the centre/store website is up to date promoting our best offers.
Utilize all opportunities within the store/centre social media, poster sites to optimize brand presence and sales.
- Communicate on a regular basis with Retail Area sales manager, retail support team and peers.
- Is involved as and when required in any retail projects to ensure that we deliver our vision and values and make retail future proof.
