Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience? We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and flexible Retail Assistant to join our pop-up shop team on a zero hours contract.
About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets while ensuring every customer receives exceptional service. You will play a key role in maintaining high store standards, managing stock, merchandising products, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers, providing outstanding customer service.
- Support the achievement of sales, conversion, and average transaction value (ATV) targets.
- Maintain accurate pricing, promotional displays, and stock levels.
- Process deliveries and book stock onto the system accurately.
- Assist with visual merchandising and ensure displays are attractive and commercially effective.
- Encourage customers to join the company mailing list.
- Participate in regular stocktakes and inventory checks.
- Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and wider team to achieve store objectives.
- Support opening and closing procedures when required.
About You
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Flexible and reliable with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
