About the role and practice
We have an opportunity for a Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Newmarket – Terrace Dental practice in Newmarket.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role if joining as a Trainee. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.
If you are a qualified Dental Nurse you will need to have a valid GDC registration and relevant dental nursing qualifications.

- 33 hours per week.
- Typical shifts are Monday Tuesdays and Thursday 7:30am – 5pm Fridays 7:30am – 4pm
- Training supported by our highly experienced team -your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex
About You

- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
