We’re looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse for our fabulous nurse team at 2th Dental in Northampton. Read on to find out more.
Starting rate is £12.21ph (National Minimum Wage). Full‑time hours – typical shifts are 8.15 am – 5.45 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Training supported by our highly experienced, supportive team – your course will be fully funded by us and is overseen by an external course provider. Beautiful practice with good transport links.
About You

- Ideally Maths & English GCSE grade A‑C/4‑9 or Key Skills / Functional Skills Level 2
- Confident communicator with an empathetic, service‑focused approach
- Keen to learn how to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in a wide variety of procedures

Qualifications
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – essential for accurate communication and record‑keeping. Previous reception or customer service experience – ideally within a dental or healthcare setting, but not required. Strong IT skills, including confidence with practice management software, email, and basic office applications. Excellent communication skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and remain calm in a busy environment. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail when handling patient records.
