Associate Dentist
We are looking for an Associate Dentist to join our practice in Comber County Down, Northern Ireland on a part–time basis from January 2026. This position will support the growth of the practice and deliver high‑quality dental care to patients.
Responsibilities & Practicalities
Key details:
- Start date: January 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
- Practice days: up to three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) with available surgery space
- Practice: modern, fully equipped, mixed NHS/Private practice; negotiated NHS funding; long‑standing team; full clinical freedom; SOE software; special interests welcomed
- Parking: free on‑street parking outside the practice
- Location: Comber, local market town, 10 miles from Belfast

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent qualification
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Proven experience performing a wide range of dental procedures
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent patient management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Proficiency in using dental software and equipment
- Empathetic and patient‑focused approach to dental care
- Previous experience as an associate dentist is preferred but not essential
