Our client is a market-leading B2B construction services company with a well-established network of branches across the UK. In order to take advantage of new market opportunities, the company is currently expanding its Sales Team and is looking for a number of experienced Sales Directors with strong account management and new business development experience to help drive their exciting growth strategy nationwide.
Reporting to the National Sales Director, the successful candidates will manage a personal sales portfolio, fostering long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional levels of customer service are delivered throughout the sales process. Targeting regional and local contractors, you will identify and secure new sales opportunities, personally leading bids, proposals, and presentations and building strategic partnerships to drive high-level sales.
A proven history of success selling tools, equipment, and related support services into the UK construction industry is key for these roles, which will be homebased, in key areas throughout the UK.
The role:
- Manage a personal sales portfolio, building long-term customer relationships by understanding their needs, delivering value and championing customer satisfaction.
- Identify and secure new sales opportunities, targeting regional and local contractors.
- Personally lead bids, proposals, and presentations, building strategic partnerships to drive high-level sales.
- Collaborate with branch and regional teams to grow customer bases and enhance service delivery.
- Inspire and support branch and merchant teams, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
- Resolve customer issues and enhance service levels by working closely with internal departments.
- Represent the company professionally at trade events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Promote a "safety-first" mindset, ensuring health and safety remain a top priority.
