As part of this growth, they are now seeking an exceptional Director of Admissions to lead and evolve their recruitment strategy, building a scalable admissions engine while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
The role:
- Take full ownership of the admissions function, leading the end-to-end local and international student recruitment strategy
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies across schools, sixth forms, universities, and graduate communities, building and managing relationships with schools, careers services, parents, and student networks
- Develop and execute targeted strategies to appeal to professionals with already established careers looking for a potential change in career direction
- Oversee the admissions journey from enquiry to enrolment
- Represent the organisation at education fairs, partner events, and thought leadership forums
- Work closely with marketing to shape outreach campaigns and lead generation
- Report on performance metrics and refine the admissions process
- Contribute insight to programme development and student needs
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in student recruitment, admissions, or widening participation in educational programmes
- Strong understanding of the education-to-career journey
- Strategic mindset with strong operational execution
- Confident communicator across students, parents, and institutions
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine commitment to education
- Knowledge of UCAS, school-university pipelines, and employability programmes is highly desirable
