Working in our client's Children's Homes means becoming an important part of a young person's everyday life. You'll be there through both the highs and the lows, helping children and young people rebuild their confidence, develop independence and create brighter futures.

Our client's homes support young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, with the aim of achieving the very best outcomes for every child in their care. As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in making positive changes, celebrating every milestone, no matter how small.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you'll support the day-to-day care of the young people while ensuring the home operates to the highest standards. You'll lead and support the staff team, promote positive relationships and be prepared to deputise for the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager when required. This role would suit someone who is compassionate, resilient and able to inspire others while creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people.

  • Base salary: £35,400 - £42,664 per annum
  • Up to 3 sleep-ins per month paid at £80 per sleep (approximately £2,880 per year)

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude.
  • Genuine compassion, empathy and commitment to supporting children and young people.
  • The resilience to work in a challenging but rewarding environment.
  • A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (essential).

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive induction programme, providing all the training and support needed to feel confident in the role.
