Working in our client's Children's Homes means being a part of a young person's day-to-day life. This means being there for the highest highs and lowest lows. As a Deputy Manager, you'll help create a home environment where both staff and young people feel safe, secure and supported. There will be challenges along the way, but there will also be the smallest moments that feel like huge victories.
Our client's homes support young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, with the aim of achieving the very best outcomes. Their holistic approach ensures every aspect of a young person's development is supported, with multidisciplinary teams including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and other clinical professionals working together to deliver positive outcomes.
By supporting the day-to-day management of the home, leading the staff team and ensuring the home consistently operates to high standards, you'll help young people regain their childhood and create pathways towards becoming well-rounded adults.
We're looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare, including experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

What we're looking for:
- A committed and enthusiastic leader with a genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare, including supervisory experience
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England) (essential)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (desirable, with support available to achieve it if required)
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
