About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager or a strong Senior Residential Support Worker who is ready to take the next step in their career. The home provides a therapeutic, warm and caring environment for three vulnerable young people, supporting them to come to terms with their past experiences and prepare for their futures. As Deputy Manager, you will be an integral part of a welcoming and knowledgeable leadership team. You will also form part of a wider regional network of children's homes within a growing national organisation. You will be encouraged to contribute your ideas, bring your own skills to the role and help influence the continued development of the service. Our client will support you to achieve a Level 5 qualification, develop into a future leader and take on additional responsibilities that will give you the confidence and experience to manage the home when required. Essential Requirements
- At least two years' experience working within a residential children's home at Senior or Deputy Manager level.
- NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience managing or supporting budgets and staff rotas.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- The flexibility to work a combination of long shifts, administrative days and occasional sleep-ins.
