Registered Manager – Adult Mental Health Residential Care
Chadwell Heath, East London | Β£37,000–£47,000 per annum | Permanent, full-time

Help launch and shape a new six-bed residential home supporting adults with mental health needs.

Our client is an established care provider with several residential homes and plans for further growth. You will work directly with the owner to prepare the new service for opening, build its staff team and lead its day-to-day operation. For the right person, there is potential to progress into managing additional homes as the organisation expands.

The role

  • Lead the CQC Registered Manager application and support the home's opening.
  • Recruit, supervise and develop the staff team.
  • Oversee person-centred care planning, safeguarding and risk management.
  • Maintain strong standards of quality and CQC compliance.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and commissioners.

Essential experience

You must have adult mental health care experience, including experience supporting people with paranoid schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder and dual diagnosis. You must also have leadership or management experience in adult social care and be confident in staff supervision, care planning, safeguarding and CQC requirements.

You may already be a Registered Manager, or you may be a Deputy Manager, Service Manager or experienced Team Leader ready to step up. Experience with learning disabilities or autism, or opening a new service, would alsobe an advantage.

Salary: Β£37,000–£47,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The initial recruitment process includes a CV review, an informal telephone conversation with the owner and a face-to-face interview.
