Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester
Salary: up to £39,000 (depending on experience)
Service: 2-bed EBD Children's Home
The Role
- Support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
- Act as a Key Worker.
- Complete care plans, daily recordings and risk assessments.
- Build positive relationships with young people.
- Work closely with education, social workers and other professionals.
- Support the Registered Manager in maintaining high standards of care and compliance.
- Promote safeguarding and positive outcomes for young people.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Previous experience within children’s residential care.
- Experience leading shifts or working as a Senior Residential Support Worker.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Passion for achieving positive outcomes for children.
