About The Role
The Practice Improvement Officer will be responsible for improving and influencing social care practice across the authority.
In this role, you will undertake practice improvement activity informed by audit findings such as the design and delivery of breakfast briefings, lunch time learning, and staff engagement events.
The role will support consistency enabling a shared understanding what good looks like through coaching and role modelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and share learning materials based on themes and practice issues arising from quality assurance activity to improve services for children and families in Bolton.
- Support सपना in the development and delivery of Bolton\’s career entry and career progression pathways through bespoke programmes such as apprenticeships, Frontline, and Greater Manchester\’s Return to Social Work programmes.
- Collaborate with children and families to understand quality of practice.
- Contribute and engage the workforce in the continuous development of our learning culture, specifically around ensuring quality assurance activity influences practice.
