We are recruiting a qualified Electrician to deliver domestic electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across occupied and void social housing properties. This opportunity is with a well-established, community-focused housing provider operating across Greater Manchester, known for investing in its homes, delivering high standards of repair, and supporting its workforce to develop and succeed. The role is permanent and offers long-term stability, with a company van, tools, uniform and paid on-call included.
Key Duties
- Domestic electrical maintenance and installation
- Fault finding and electrical repairs
- EICR testing and remedial works
- Completing Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Works Certificates and EICRs
- Electrical works in social housing properties
- Working in both tenanted and void properties
- Minor associated works (making good, patch plastering, flooring/tiling removal and refit)
- Using handheld devices / PDA to update jobs in real time
- Delivering excellent customer service in residents' homes
- Ensuring compliance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and health & safety standards
- Supporting apprentices and working to productivity targets
