A really exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Manager to join our clients new 2 bed home opening in Wisbech. This home supports Children and Young People who have gone through complex trauma or exploitation. Your team will support the CYP through Trauma-informed care and a Therapeutic model. This is a unique service that receives weekly clinical support, from an in-house Therapist and Psychologist as well as our Specialist Advisors who can support up-skilling your teams knowledge.
Your Role as a Senior Registered Manager:
- Lead with compassion and integrity, ensuring children receive outstanding care, support and guidance tailored to their individual needs.
- Be the voice and advocate for both your team and the children, creating a home where safety, respect and aspirations thrive.
- Empower your team to deliver therapeutic, child-centred care that leads to real, lasting outcomes.
- Build a home culture that is warm, inclusive, and resilient, where young people feel safe, valued and inspired.
- Oversee all operational aspects, including safeguarding, care planning, compliance, and team development.
- Mentor and develop staff, cultivating future leaders through coaching, supervision and training (including QCF Level 3 facilitation).
- Lead service development, budget management and continuous improvement across all areas of home performance.
Your skills:
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Registered Manager.
- Achieved Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
- Experience working with complex trauma.
- Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Children's home regulations.
- Experience of budgets and financial management.
- Full driving licence is essential.
