About the Role
We are recruiting full-time Childrens Residential Support Workers to join residential homes across the Rotherham area. You will be supporting children and young people with severe learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs within a safe, structured, and family-style environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, helping young people feel secure, valued, and supported to live positive and fulfilling lives.
No Experience Needed
Previous experience isn't essential. Full training and support is provided, including:

- Ongoing training, coaching, and development

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, caring, and supportive home environment
- Support children and young people with daily routines and activities
- Act as a positive role model and build strong, trusting relationships
- Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills
- Take part in activities such as sports, gaming, days out, and hobbies
- Support with household tasks to maintain a clean and welcoming home
- Provide personal care where required
- Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Caring, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins
- Ability to build professional and supportive relationships with young people
- Makaton or BSL skills are desirable but not essential
