We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing children's care provider for a passionate Deputy Manager to join a 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Corby. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker looking to progress into a leadership role where you'll make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people.
Working alongside an experienced Registered Manager, you'll help lead a dedicated team, promote therapeutic, child-centred care and play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
The Role
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead, motivate and develop the staff team to deliver outstanding care.
- Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Promote positive outcomes through therapeutic, relationship-based care.
- Assist with staff rotas, budgets and compliance.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager during periods of absence.
- Help create a positive culture that enables children to reach their full potential.
