Working within our clients Childrens Residential Homes means becoming part of a young persons everyday life, supporting them through both their highest highs and lowest lows. As a Team Leader, you will help young people regain their childhoods, build confidence, and create positive pathways into adulthood. The home supports young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), with a focus on delivering the best possible outcomes in a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.

The Role

  • Lead and support the staff team on shift
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
  • Help create a safe, stable, and supportive home environment
  • Support care planning and daily routines
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Deputise for the Deputy and Registered Managers when required
  • Ensure compliance with Childrens Home Regulations and safeguarding standards

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 Diploma in Childrens Residential Care (essential)
  • Experience working within a Childrens Residential setting
  • Previous senior or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of Childrens Home Regulations
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
  • Emotional resilience and the ability to manage challenging situations
  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
