Reporting to Head of Brand & Creative: This role is responsible for producing content for Portman’s social media channels to increase brand visibility, engage key audiences, and support business growth. You will create high-quality visual and video content, identify trends, and use analytics to guide content strategy and improve performance.

Goals:

  • Raise the profile of all trading brands within the Group.
  • Contribute to sales lead generation.
  • Improve online conversion.
  • Measurement of activity to assess the impact of content on the above.
  • Fostering long term loyalty (customer and employee).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership, production and delivery of engaging, industry-relevant content to meet business objectives across all active, and yet to be activated, social media channels as well as the company websites where appropriate.
  • Produce graphics and video content.
  • Engage with customers, partners, investors, employees, and potential talent.
  • Supplementary lead generation by driving awareness through social media.
  • Position Portman as a destination employer and increase employer brand exposure.
  • Track performance and use analytics to inform future content decisions.
  • Identify and leverage trending topics and formats to boost engagement.
  • Grow an understanding of our audience and partners to identify specific talking points / insights / engagement opportunities.
  • Competitor market analysis.
  • Finger on the pulse regarding latest platform algorithms and engagement tools.
  • Broadcast the values of Portman through an authentic narrative of our Culture, Mission, Achievements, Employee Experience, Knowledge.

Core Skills Required:

  • Social media content delivery.
  • Motion graphics and video production.
  • Graphic design and desktop publishing (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Copy writing.
  • Trend spotting and digital storytelling within niche audiences.
  • Data/analytics-driven decision making.
  • A.I. Content/Asset Generation.
  • Previous use of social media scheduling tools such as Zoho / HootSuite / Sprout Social.
  • 5 years experience.
