We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Ferndale Dental practice. No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.
Full-time hours
Typical shifts are Mon - Wed 8:15 to 17:15, Thurs 8:15 to 19:15, Friday 8:15 to 17:15 with 1 hour lunch.
Training supported by our highly experienced team
Your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by Portman Dentex.
About you

- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course.
- Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care.
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session.
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures.
