Full-time hours available - 42.5 hours per week. However, we would consider part-time as well for a Qualified Dental Nurse. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm.

Located in Wilmslow, our Laburnum Dental Care has been established in the beautiful, leafy Handforth since 1979. Their aim is, and always has been, to provide high quality dentistry in a modern and caring environment to all members of the local community. We provide clinical excellence in dentistry and our renowned services and dental expertise are utilised in our skilled approach to the individual needs of each and every patient.

About you as a Qualified Dental Nurse

  • Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • A positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
  • Passionate about building great relationships with patients and colleagues, and providing exceptional standards of care.

About you as a Trainee Dental Nurse

  • No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
  • Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
  • Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
