Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Therapist for a part-time, on-site role at our Garstang practice. Responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of orthodontic care, implementing clinical treatment plans under the direction of an orthodontist and maintaining patient comfort and safety during procedures. The role also involves conducting patient consultations, providing oral hygiene advice, and ensuring compliance with clinical regulations and practice policies.
Qualifications
- Proficient in delivering orthodontic care, including fitting and adjusting orthodontic appliances
- Skilled in patient communication, consultations, and providing oral hygiene guidance
- Knowledge of maintaining compliance with clinical regulations and practice protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support the orthodontist in delivering care
- Professional qualifications as a certified Orthodontic Therapist and current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining high clinical standards
