We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endodontist or clinician with a special interest in Endodontics to join our esteemed dental practice in Burton on Trent. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional oral and maxillofacial care to our diverse patient base, utilising your expertise in advanced dental procedures and surgical techniques.

Hughes and Owen Burton was established in 1933, originally situated on the High Street in Burton. The practice moved to its present location at Priory House in 1972. We aim to provide high-quality treatments in our two practices in Burton-on-Trent and Swadlincote in modern and caring environments. We aim to treat patients as individuals and will always have time to listen to questions with kindness, courtesy and patience.

  • Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including wisdom teeth extractions and surgical extractions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring oral surgery
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
  • Interpret medical imaging results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with other dental and medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques and technologies
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients and their families
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid dental license in the United Kingdom
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret medical imaging results
