About the role and practice

We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our The Cosmetic Dental Clinic practice in Durham.

The Cosmetic Dental Clinic has built a reputation for life-enhancing smile makeovers in the Northeast and beyond. This practice fosters learning and development by encouraging progression and the attainment of qualifications to further your career. We are a fully private, cosmetic practice offering all treatments including Invisalign and Implants, and have a friendly team offering an exciting opportunity to join our amazing team.

No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.

• 36 hours a week
• Training supported by our highly experienced team – your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex.
• Parking 10 minutes away.

About you

We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course.
• Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care.
• Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session.
• Comfortable learning to perform high-quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures.
