Job Description
Do you work in a commercial, customer-facing business where you manage area managers? Are you looking for a new challenge in a different sector? If so, we have a rare opportunity to join our Operations team as Head of Operations for the South East.
In this role, you'll lead a team of circa 6 Operations (Area) Managers to enable our practices to deliver the best level of care to our patients. Some of your key deliverables will be EBITDA budget, NPS, and colleague engagement measures – however this is a varied role where you'll also:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and processes to improve performance and productivity.
- Engage key regional stakeholders (including Clinical, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Marketing and People) to ensure a combined approach to delivering practice success.
- Identify opportunities for business growth through efficient operations and new partnerships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop your teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across your region.
- Manage budgets, expenditures, and resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
We welcome your application to our Head of Operations vacancy if you have the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience of managing area managers across multiple sites, within a customer-facing industry (dentistry experience isn't required, so we're very open to considering applications from other healthcare-related sectors, retail, hospitality, etc.)
- Proven P&L experience.
- Experience of delivering a multi-site strategy in line with ambitious group-wide growth.
- Strong commercial acumen gained in a commercially-focused environment.
The South East region includes practices from Dorset to Essex to Kent (and includes London), so you'll need to live in or near the region to effectively operate in this role.
