The Team

Our Corporate Affairs team advises some of the biggest and most exciting organisations in the world on their communications and reputation. We build and deliver communication strategies for major corporates, challenger brands, campaign groups, charities, and industry bodies, helping our clients grow their reputation, shift the narrative, and secure a better operating context.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Corporate Affairs team on an initial six‑month fixed‑term contract. The ideal candidate specialises in strategic communications within a business, finance, and investment context and can confidently advise on and deliver corporate and financial communication outcomes for established global businesses, institutions, funds, and challenger brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
  • Devising and delivering proactive and reactive media and digital engagement strategies
  • Write and produce client‑facing proposals, presentations, and strategic plans
  • Draft a range of materials including press releases, opinion editorials, website copy, briefing documents, and analysis
  • Manage multi‑disciplinary client teams
  • Coordinate media monitoring and horizon scanning
  • Ensure the successful day‑to‑day delivery of communication strategies and tactical plans
  • Build a relevant network of media and equity analyst relationships

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience, gained in‑house or with an agency, advising brands on corporate and financial communications
  • Fluency in company accounts (UK GAAP, IFRS) and experience in financial and investment analysis or economics
  • Experience in investor relations, and engagement with proxy advisors, rating agencies, equity, and fixed‑income research
  • A proactive, creative, detail‑driven approach with an excellent understanding of the media and the broader business, finance, consumer, and political landscape
  • Well‑connected with national and trade media and the equity analyst community
