Job Description

The Reception Team Leader role has three key elements:

• Provide management and direction to a team of three Receptionists across two buildings, serving as the first point of contact for all team members and using excellent coaching skills to build a culture of excellence and world‑class customer service.
• Manage the operation, set standards through operational involvement, monitor team performance, and bring innovative improvements to services.
• Act as the most senior Portico team member on site, remaining highly visible, working closely with firm staff and clients, and representing our client as a proud ambassador.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts between 7 am and 6 pm, Mon‑Fri. Salary: £42,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience at a Team Leader level, preferably within a Corporate Reception environment.
• Experience leading and developing a team, HR processes, and team rota management.
• Open‑minded, adaptable, flexible, and comfortable in an ever‑changing and evolving business.

Additional Information

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (Marylebone office). The role is based in a brand‑new Portico client office in the financial services industry.
