Portico is on the lookout for an inspirational and customer focused Reception Supervisor to oversee our small team at the city-based offices of an energy company. The Reception Supervisor role has 3 key elements:

  • Management and direction: effectively provide management and direction to 1 Receptionist; first point of contact; use excellent coaching skills to create a culture of excellence and world-class customer service.
  • Operations management: manage operation, set standards, monitor team performance; provide meet and greet service; manage meeting rooms, issue security passes, order stock, deal with couriers and post, provide general admin support, manage permits, replenish coffee machines; work closely with sister company providing hospitality services; innovate and improve services.
  • Senior representation: most senior Portico team member on site; highly visible; work closely with the firm’s staff, clients and other partners; build relationships at all levels; represent client as ambassador.

Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts from 7am–3.30pm, 7:30am–4pm and 8:30am–5pm. Salary: £37,000.

Qualifications: Supervisory experience within a similar role is essential. Ability to work independently, proactively taking ownership of domain. Excellent IT and admin skills; flexibility and adaptability to manage all areas of a corporate front-of-house operation.
