AV Team Leader

Job Description

We are currently on the lookout for a tech‑savvy and polished AV Team Leader based in the corporate offices of a world‑renown bank. As a vital part of the wider FOH team, the AV team ensures the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations, keeping all AV equipment in working order and supporting events in the client’s purpose‑built Business School Auditorium and four large event spaces/meeting rooms.

The AV Team Leader will lead, develop and coordinate a team of two AV Technicians, working with the events team as AV Lead and meeting clients to understand their requirements so that events/meetings run smoothly from the AV side. This role combines a passion for technology with leadership, striving to maintain a 5* service standard.

Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts from Mon‑Fri. Salary: £32,130.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coordinate a team of 2 AV Technicians.
• Ensure all AV equipment is in working order and support day‑to‑day operations.
• Work with the events team as AV Lead and meet clients to understand their requirements.
• Deliver high‑quality AV support for events in the Business School Auditorium and four large event spaces/meeting rooms.
• Provide AV and logistical support to the business, maintaining a 5* service standard.

Qualifications

• Customer‑focused with previous experience leading a small team.
• Knowledge of audio‑visual equipment and services is essential, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Experience in a 5* customer service environment is advantageous.
