We are currently recruiting for an Events Coordinator to join our front of house team in the London offices of a client in the financial services industry! The main purpose of the Event Coordinator will be to support the smooth day-to-day organisation of the firm’s events operation through effective administrative processes. Ultimately, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and seamless experience that reflects the company’s standards of service and operational excellence, whilst contributing to the continuous improvement of operational systems and workflows.
Key duties include:
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
- Coordinating schedules, bookings, and operational calendars
- Preparing operational documents including reports, schedules, checklists, and logs
- Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, Hospitality, IT and AV to support operational delivery
- Ensuring operational procedures and systems are followed consistently
- Supporting compliance with health & safety, data protection, and organisational policies
- Tracking operational issues and escalating concerns to management
Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts between 7.30am and 6pm from Mon-Fri, with some evening cover required for events.
Salary: £34,000
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or coordinator role is essential. The successful candidate will also have proven experience of:
- Managing diaries, schedules, and bookings
- Handling correspondence, phone calls, and email enquiries
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
- Preparing documents, reports, and basic financial paperwork
- Liaising with internal teams, clients, suppliers, or external stakeholders
- Working in a fast-paced or deadline-driven environment
- Working with standard office systems and procedures
