Job Description
Portico are currently recruiting for a Guest Services Manager, who will coach and oversee our team of 13 who look after the front of house operations with an insurance company located in the city.
The role of the Guest Services Manager is to ensure that the reception runs efficiently, and all reception and hospitality duties are attended to in accordance with the stipulated protocols and procedures. This includes the welcome experience and client hosting, central reservations, events support and management, switchboard operations, and access control.
The role is very hands on, with the successful candidate not only ensuring that an exceptional high level of service is delivered by the team. But also ensuring the effective utilisation and management of space within their domain whilst being open minded, adaptable, and flexible in an ever changing and evolving business.
The successful candidate will work closely with the company’s staff and their clients, as well as other service and business partners to ensure a seamlessly high standard of service is delivered. It is a highly visible role, and the Guest Services Manager will always be seen as an overseer and an ambassador. They will also play a critical role in any ongoing workplace projects and Initiatives
Hours: 40 hours per week, rotational shifts from 7am – 4 pm or 8am – 5 pm, Mon-Fri.
Salary: £51,096 per annum
Qualifications
People management experience is essential, and the successful candidate will have a proven track record of working at a management level, within a high-end customer service role, ideally within a corporate environment.
They will be highly motivated and well presented, with a natural and authentic flair for building rapport.
Excellent all-round communication and organisational skills are also essential, as well a as a strong passion for delivering five-star customer service.
The successful candidate will thrive in a busy and fast paced working environment, where teamwork is paramount to the success of the operation.
