Portico are on the lookout for a Reception Manager, who is a natural multi-tasker, problem solver, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee our ground floor reception team of 4, based across 2 busy buildings, where the staff look after education campuses and deal with many students and members of the public.

The Reception Manager's core focus will be on the team and the Reception operation. Enhancing service standards through the implementation and use of SOPs, KPIs, audit scores, and customer feedback, all overarched by the Portico values. They will demonstrate effective rota management and strategic planning of team holidays, as well as mitigating against sickness and other absence.

Alongside their duties to their team, the Reception Manager will also be the "go-to" person for welcome services, community engagement, and front of house services provided in the buildings.

Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, with shifts from 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri

Salary: Β£40,517 per annum. Please note that this is a 9-month maternity cover contract.

Qualifications: Candidates must have customer service experience, preferably within a corporate or five-star hospitality environment. Supervisory or management experience is also essential. Someone who has experience managing multiple busy locations and dealing with members of the public/students will be preferable.
