We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Club Steward/Stewardess (with spouse/partner to assist) to lead day-to-day operations and contribute to the ongoing success of our club.
Role Overview:
As Club Steward/Stewardess you will be responsible for the management and daily running of the Club including the bar and cellar. Your focus will be on ensuring the high-quality experience for our members, maintaining facilities and supporting events. The position offers the ideal opportunity for a couple or family looking to live on-site and run a close-knit, community-focused establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage aspects of the Club's daily operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests.
- Liaise regularly with the Management Committee.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of Club facilities.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.
- Plan and support Club events and special occasions.
- Oversee stock control for the bars.
- Manage bar areas efficiently.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role (Club, Pub or Hospitality setting essential).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in purchasing and managing stock.
- Two references required.
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety standards.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends and Public Holidays as required.
- Bar management experience is essential.
