We are looking for someone to join the practice team on a 10 month fixed term contract from February-December 2026. We are looking for someone to work 4 sessions - these sessions would be over 2 days and would be on a Thursday and a Friday.
Main duties of the job
To work as part of the practice team and undertake the normal range of GP duties including calls, duty and normal clinics on a rota basis.

Porthcawl Group Practice is a large, progressive, teaching practice situated in the seaside town of Porthcawl. The practice is an extremely busy one with up to 14 doctors (7 Partners, 8 salaried GPs & registrars in training) at any one time. The practice offers a pleasant but challenging place to work, serving a predominantly elderly population of high demand/expectations and multi-morbidity.

We are offering the right individual a 10 month fixed term salaried role within our established and successful GP training practice. Working from our new purpose-built practice centre, you will enjoy the support of a friendly team and engage with opportunities for individual development.

- Qualifications: Completed GP Training
- Experience post registrar however not essential
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
