Lincroft Meadow care home provides expert 24-hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for up to 70 elderly residents. The home offers private ensuite bedrooms, communal areas, restaurants, café, cinema, hair salon and private dining rooms.

About The Role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a keen, hardworking gardener and someone with general DIY skills to support our beautiful Care Home.
As a gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the gardens to promote a relaxing and welcoming environment for our residents.
You will provide support to the activities and wellbeing team in any gardening activities residents undertake, therefore you must be happy to work both on your own and as part of a team. You will be involved in garden initiatives and competitions, so thinking creatively will come naturally to you and you will be required to promote and represent the home in a positive light.
There will also be regular clearing and maintaining of pathways and garden furniture, and general maintenance work to ensure safety within the gardens, and so they are both welcoming and functional.
About You
You will have proven experience in gardening and seasonal planting and enjoy working outside in all weather conditions.
You will have knowledge and experience using various gardening machinery and have proven knowledge and experience in general DIY within a home setting.
Thinking creatively comes naturally to you and you enjoy working with others from various backgrounds and life experiences.
Above all, you will have a passion for gardening and a desire to help others through your work.
