About You:

  • You are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.
  • You are willing to work towards or have your NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • You have previous experience in a care home environment, ideally in a Senior Carer role.
  • You are confident in administering medication within a care home setting, including supporting multiple residents.
  • You understand care planning and are comfortable updating or creating care plans.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have strong leadership skills and can motivate and support those around you.
  • Most importantly, you have a natural desire to help others and thrive within a team of Senior Carers and Care Team Leaders, all committed to providing the highest standard of care for our residents.

About the role:

Leading a team of Carers and Senior Carers, you will deliver person-centred care to our residents to ensure they retain their dignity and individuality. By leading a happy and competent team, you can really make a difference in your home and also the local community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of Carers and Senior Carers in the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Communicating regularly with our residents' families and healthcare professionals to write and adapt care plans.
  • Administering medication and completing risk assessments.
  • Ensuring the needs of the residents are always met.
  • Ensuring residents' daily records are up to date and accurately reflect the care provided.
