About the Role

We are seeking a creative and compassionate Activities and Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team. In this fulfilling role, you'll be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a vibrant calendar of activities and wellbeing initiatives tailored to our residents' individual needs and preferences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising, coordinating and delivering a diverse programme of person-centred activities and wellness events.
  • Encouraging resident participation in meaningful and stimulating experiences.
  • Designing personalised activity plans that reflect individual interests and abilities.
  • Championing holistic wellbeing through tailored leisure and lifestyle offerings within our home.

About You

With strong communication skills and a warm, approachable nature, you'll feel confident connecting with residents, families, and team members. You will also:

  • Have a background in events planning, or activity coordination. Similar roles include Day Centre Coordinator or Occupational Therapy Support Worker.
  • Experience working with the care industry.
  • Be willing to enrol or hold a NAPA Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate excellent computer, reading, and writing skills.
  • Bring a positive, can-do attitude and a team-focused mindset.
  • Be flexible and able to work alternate weekends.

Above all, you will be enthusiastic, organised, and genuinely passionate about improving the lives of others through creative engagement. The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
