As a Kitchen Porter you will support the kitchen team to serve delicious, well-balanced and nutritious meals that our residents will love.

Kitchen Porter responsibilities include:

  • washing pots and pans
  • keeping floors clean
  • sanitising food preparation areas
  • ensuring food is stocked up in all areas of the home by checking and replenishing stock
  • helping with unloading and putting away deliveries

About you

You will be reliable, considerate and caring in your approach. Formal qualifications are not necessary as full training will be provided, although any similar experience gained in a commercial kitchen or care setting would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
