Astbury Mere is a beautiful care home that provides expert 24-hour residential, dementia, nursing and respite care for up to 62 elderly residents. The home boasts an array of modern facilities, including beautifully decorated bedrooms equipped with ensuite wet-rooms, a selection of stylish communal lounges, a plethora of restaurants, a hairdressing salon, leisure and wellness room, a private dining room and secure landscaped gardens.

About The RoleYou will care for our residents as if they were members of your own family, recognising that each one of them is an individual with their own needs and preferences. You will help them in making choices regarding their care and support them with every aspect of daily living, from washing and toileting to dressing and assisting at mealtimes where required. Throughout all of your interactions with our residents, you will ensure that their needs are met through the delivery of dignified and person-centered care.
About YouYou will be cheerful, caring and compassionate, as well as having a flexible approach to working shifts. If you have experience in care, that is great, but your personal qualities are far more important to us and we will provide full training and support for you to start your career in care.
The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
