I am working alongside a chartered accountancy based in the Bradford area who are looking to add a Payroll & Bookkeeper to their established team. They are going through a period of sustained growth and are looking for a part-time candidate for 20-28 hours/week that will bring valuable experience to the team.
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Technical skills required including payroll systems & Excel
- Support the busy payroll department with high volume starters and leavers
- Must have reliable Excel skills as there is lots of manual processing
- High volume, fast-paced environment
- Provide comprehensive advice to employees regarding payroll queries
- Ensure all necessary payments are made within deadlines, e.g., Pension Contributions
- Perform manual calculations
- Experience with accounts responsibilities such as processing VAT and general bookkeeping
- Pensions & HMRC submissions experience
- Sage system experience is ideally preferred
Benefits:
