Portfolio is proud to be exclusively representing our award-winning, multinational HR & Employment Law services client in their search for a HR Advisor to add to their team. This unique HR Advisory role is open to HR professionals at any level, offering invaluable experience advising on a wide range of HR processes and Employment Law for over 30,000 clients across various sectors. There is also an opportunity to earn additional income on top of your basic salary and to follow a clear career progression pathway.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing reliable and commercially focused HR and Employment Law advice over the phone to clients on all HR matters, from general to complex queries. You will participate in excellent training programs and may have the opportunity to gain a part post-graduate qualification.

If you have an HR qualification, some exposure to HR work, or are studying CIPD independently, and are looking for an entry point into the industry, this role offers a chance to expand your knowledge and skills to further your HR career. The HR Advisor will also be responsible for:

  1. Supporting all clients with quality advice in a productive manner to provide efficient, solution-based guidance via email or call, depending on client preference. This will primarily involve call advice.
  2. Handling a variety of calls from clients with HR issues or queries, including absence management, grievances, disciplinary actions, etc.
  3. Providing clients with supporting information and documentation to assist in implementing the advice or solutions provided.
  4. Using your HR and employment law expertise to develop clear, tailored responses for clients.
  5. Reviewing client documentation and offering advice considering their internal terms and conditions.
  6. Ensuring all advice requests are addressed within the relevant service level agreements (SLAs).

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Good employment law knowledge, gained through studies or work experience.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience is desirable.
  • Experience working in a KPI/target-driven environment, preferably in a shared service centre, is highly desirable.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Be an organized self-starter.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
