The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead their commercial office and support the continued growth of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role combining office management, estimating and commercial decision-making. You'll oversee the quoting and order processing function, lead a customer-focused team and work closely with Sales, Technical and Production to improve performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial & Operational Management
    • Lead and develop the commercial office team.
    • Support complex quotations and technical enquiries.
    • Manage workflow, priorities and resource allocation.
    • Ensure quotations and orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
    • Drive continuous improvement across office operations.
  • Team Leadership
    • Coach, mentor and develop the office team.
    • Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing training.
    • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork and excellent customer service.
  • Performance & Customer Service
    • Monitor KPIs including quote turnaround, order accuracy and response times.
    • Improve quotation conversion and operational performance.
    • Build strong relationships with internal departments and ensure a consistently high level of customer service.
  • Systems & Compliance
    • Support business system improvements and process development.
    • Maintain Health & Safety and company compliance standards.

About You

You'll be an organised and commercially aware leader with experience managing a busy office within the fenestration, glazing, aluminium or construction sector. Office management or commercial management experience. Estimating, quotation or order processing knowledge. Strong leadership and people development skills. Excellent organisational and communication abilities. A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
