Job Description
Role Purpose
Receive technically approved project information from surveyors and technical leads and convert it into accurate manufacturing, procurement and production documentation. The role is responsible for processing aluminium window, door and façade packages using specialist design software, supporting drawing control through
Auto CAD, producing manufacturing schedules, and ensuring all information is issued accurately and in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review technically approved survey and design information.
- Process aluminium window, door and façade packages using specialist design software.
- Create manufacturing orders from approved drawings.
- Produce fabrication information packs.
- Generate frame, glass, panel, ironmongery and ancillary schedules.
- Support procurement through material take-offs and procurement schedules.
- Coordinate phased information releases in line with project programmes.
- Maintain document revision control, ensuring only approved information is issued.
- Upload and maintain project documentation within document management systems.
- Carry out quality checks before releasing manufacturing information.
- Escalate technical discrepancies and design queries where required.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, procurement and project delivery teams.
- Technical Drawing & CAD Responsibilities
