An established and expanding home improvement specialist is seeking an experienced Installations Manager / Site Manager to oversee residential window, door, conservatory and replacement roof projects throughout Surrey and South London. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing installations from survey handover through to final completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage window, door, conservatory and replacement roof installation projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site visits, inspections and quality checks throughout each project.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, surveyors, installers and internal departments.
  • Plan and manage installation schedules, labour resources and project timelines.
  • Identify and resolve site issues, technical challenges and customer concerns in a professional manner.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Carry out final inspections and oversee project completion and handover procedures.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of installation processes and customer service standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior installation, contracts, site management or surveying role within the fenestration or home improvements sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of uPVC and aluminium window and door systems.
  • Proven experience managing domestic installation projects.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Surrey and South London.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the conservatory and replacement roof sector.
  • Knowledge of conservatory roof replacement systems, tiled roofs, solid roofs, roof lanterns and orangery-style projects.
  • Experience surveying windows, doors and roofing products.
  • Familiarity with coordinating builders and associated trades on residential projects.
  • Understanding of FENSA, Certass and current Building Regulations.
  • Previous experience within a retail home improvements environment.
